Design, construction and planting

From tiny to large city gardens in London to steep sided valley gardens in Cornwall and town gardens in Tunbridge Wells, we have a huge amount of experience in making new gardens and looking after them upon completion. We have also built several playgrounds for schools and nurseries in Kent

The design starts at concept stage and we can provide drawings, sketches or even arrange visits with the client to other gardens to get a feel for the design.

After looking over the concepts we can then provide presentation scale plans and drawings and a planting list.   We also build scale models of our designs as we find many clients actually prefer these to 2-dimensional plans.   The project can be costed from the scale plans and planting list

There is a wealth of good planting stock available in the UK but we also import larger stock – trees and topiary for instance, from France, Belgium, Holland, Spain and Italy.   We specialise in the planting of this sort of imported large stock for instant garden effects ensuring proper acclimatisation and planting.   Often clients will come with us when we go plant-hunting at the nurseries – the best part of the project!
