Green and white work well on any scale, so given a small garden in Blackheath and just these two colours to work with we designed and built this garden to the owner’s precise colour choice. Far from being static and monochrome assorted pots and pans give the opportunity to add a small splash of colour in spring and summer, but without the lush green background and soft brickwork these wouldn’t work so well. Various old-fashioned climbing roses in white, cream and buff add extra joy and scent in summer. And a wooden bench built into the brickwork provides a comfortable and shaded seat on hot days.
