Established in 1986 and now based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, Spencer Hall Gardens looks after several private and public client gardens in London and Kent. The design and consultancy work is undertaken by Dominic who has experience in the public, local education authority and private sectors having worked for The Corporation of The City of London [at the Barbican Conservatory] and Kent County Council [as groundsman and designer with the appointed Environmental Consultants to KCC].

We run a small and dedicated team of gardeners who also undertake the planting on our larger projects. On complex projects, such as playgrounds and landscapes, we have long-standing relationships with a range of sub-contractors so standards remain very high.

Dominic has specialist knowledge in tropical botany and siviculture which he studied at Wye College [London University] for his degree in Plant Sciences. He then went on the gain a Diploma in Garden Design at Writtle and also studied at Greenwich University for part of his Landscape Architecture course.
